Easy Pumpkin-Cinnamon Muffins

A friend gave me the recipe for her pumpkin muffins.  I have been so anxious to bake them.  It's a super easy recipe and they are ready for the oven in no time.  Jadyn and I made some for breakfast this morning.  Oh, they are just heavenly when they come out of the oven.  We could hardly wait for them to cool enough to try one.  I'll share the recipe with you.
Oh, who can resist?!
Pumpkin-Cinnamon Muffins
1 yellow cake mix
1 can of pumpkin
1 bag Hershey's cinnamon chips - 10 oz.
1/2 cup water

Mix all ingredients together.  Spray muffin tin with cooking spray and fill cups about 2/3 full.  Bake at 350 degrees for about 18 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.  Makes about 18-19 regular size muffins.

• I did have to look in more than one store to find the cinnamon chips.

Hmmm... I don't think that they sell cinnamon chips here as I've never seen them. (and I am always in the baking isle). ;p
I'm thinking that I could just add a dash of cinnamon though and some chocolate chips!!!
They look great!

Hey Laura, Thanks for the great recipe. I love anything that's this simple. I baked them this morning, and they were great! I can get Hershey's cinnamon chips in our local Hannaford grocery store. I don't know if they have those near you. Sometimes if I can't find a product, I will look at the mfg website and they will list stores where you can find their stuff.
Thanks again.

I fixed the muffins and sent some to work with my husband. He is missions pastor at our church. The church secretary loved them. But I got tickled...she told one of the other staff members to taste the pumpkin muffins with choc. chips. :) Jim brought the empty plate home this evening.
