Nut Clusters Review

Our family had the opportunity to try new Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters earlier this summer. Oh, did we enjoy them!

We received 4 full-size bags, in 4 different flavors. The flavors we tried were: Roasted Almond, Nut Lovers, Roasted Cashew, and Honey Roasted Peanut.

Nut Clusters are bite size clusters of nuts, and granola, with a touch of honey. They are 100% natural and they are delicious. We loved the wonderful combination of crunchy, sweet, salty and nutty. They were very satisfying as well.

All 4 flavors were so good, it would be hard to pick a favorite. We would highly recommend Nut Clusters. Everyone in the family enjoyed them, from the adults to our four year old.

Thank you, to General Mills and My Blog Spark for allowing us to review Nut Clusters.

Life Goes On

Life is getting back to normal. We're resuming our usual activities. Alan, Jadyn and I even took time to picnic by the lake one evening this week. It was just McDonald's. We didn't have to work too hard for that. Jadyn enjoyed digging in the sand. We enjoyed just watching her and talking.
We actually wanted to picnic more this week, but our weather in Minnesota has been too cool and cloudy for picnicking. We even had to cancel a playgroup picnic yesterday and head indoors. I'm ready for hot weather. We need all we can get here in the north.

My body is recovering. ☺ I've needed more naps than usual this week. I finally felt ready for cleaning today. I couldn't wait to vacuum some of the main traffic areas in the house. After about 30 minutes worth, I was worn out. I guess the body's not back to normal yet. ☺ How pathetic.

I still have a few wedding things to put away. I keep finding it here, there and everywhere. What to do with it all?

We're expecting the honeymooners to fly in tonight. I am looking forward to hearing about their trip and hopefully seeing photos too. We will enjoy visiting with them for a day or two, and then he will whisk her away to Missouri.

We received a very full CD of photos from the photographers. Many beautiful photos, which is wonderful. Please indulge me while I share 3 more.

Our 3 girls

This one is one of my favorites. So sweet.

Okay, I promise to stop now. ☺

Mrs. Half-a-Brain

Kaitlyn's wedding is just 3 days away now. There is a lot of activity around here and much excitement too.

Things are coming together quite well, as we take care of all of the details. I am so excited about the wedding, and also looking forward to it's completion. I cannot lie. As excited as we all are, we'll all be glad when everything's said and done.

My "To Do" list is quite small now, compared to what it once was. This is wonderful. I have to laugh at myself, because some part of my brain seems to be a bit fried right now. ☺ I've said several things in the last day or so which make no sense and I have to wonder about my sanity. I've also had to ask family remembers to repeat things or remind me what they said yesterday about whatever. This morning I told Alan to just call me Mrs. Half-a-Brain. Ha ha. Oh well, this too shall pass and I will get back to normal after the wedding.

We're cleaning the house and getting ready for guests. Family and friends will be driving and flying in from all over tomorrow and Friday. We're looking forward to seeing everyone and enjoying this awesome, festive time together, as we celebrate the union of Kaitlyn and Chris.

Wonders of Summer

I'm taking advantage of this slow, unhurried morning to share some photos.

Here are three that Alan took. I thought the ones of the girls using binoculars together were so cute.
Here is what they were looking at. Turtles in our pond. Are they not cute? ☺ We love to see them, sunning themselves out there. We occasionally see them in the yard.

Our son-in-law, Aaron took these photos recently while at our house.
Aaron and Lauryn were over, taking care of Jadyn. I'm so glad he thought to snap some photos. Very nice!

Itty, bitty, frog! Can you believe how tiny this guy is? Kaitlyn found him outside on our driveway, last Saturday morning. Is he not adorable?Kaitlyn was really concerned about his welfare. She was about to leave on the trip to Missouri with her dad. We promised to take good care of him and make sure he was safe. ☺We put him in a jar. Jadyn took him to Lauryn and Aaron's house when they babysat her for me that morning. They let him go in a safe place. I sent Kaitlyn a text later, letting her know the froggy had been released and was safe. ☺
